School Information

Below is important information about SLA@Beeber. Make sure to review it before the first day of school!

Getting to the School

School starts at 8:15 a.m. every day and ends at 3:05 p.m. on Fridays, 2:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, and 3:35 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

The Beeber campus for upper school students is located at 5925 Malvern Ave. Students can be dropped off at the front of the building. Students enter through the front door.

The Powel campus for lower school students this year is located at 301 N. 36th street. Students can enter through the front door and sit in the cafeteria or in the outside playground area until the start of the school day.

Students taking SEPTA can take Bus Routes G, 44 or 65 as well as the Regional Rail to the Overbrook Station. Free transpasses are available from SEPTA for students who live at least 1.5 miles away from the school (School District of Philadelphia’s transportation policies).

Transpasses will be handed out on the first day of school during advisory. Students taking Regional Rail can upgrade their student transpass at these SEPTA locations.
